I hope you are doing well today. My name is Nichelle Fredrickson. I’ve had the pleasure of being in childcare and teaching preschool for 25 plus years and a grandmother of one beautiful granddaughter. I look at my work as more than a job, but rather as a passion. I have had the pleasure of watching children grow and flourish from their first beginnings through their first day of school. I take pride in helping my children explore, learn and build new friendships.
I’m a mother of four beautiful children, three boys and one girl. Recently I have become a grandmother and couldn’t be happier. My family has a yellow lab and a beagle. All are very child friendly and have grown with my family over the years.

Reflecting on my professional approach and attitude in the early childhood field. Childcare is a profession that requires many different kinds of skills. As we fulfill the roles of an educator, child development specialist, advisor, nutritionist and any many more things. I provide quality care for children of all ages and will network with other professionals to develop effective strategies to advocate on behalf of the children and families I serve.
My Role as your Family Childcare Provider is to maintain a loving, safe, healthy, learning environment for your children.
To establish a positive and productive relationship with our families we keep our lines of communication open at all times.
Through daily briefings, newsletter, menus posted, notes in sign in sheet, sharing your child’s achievements and help to deal with the separation of stress for both parent and child.
I will support your child’s social and emotional development and to provide positive guidance.
It begins in infancy by creating a personal relationship with each infant to builds a sense of self confidence and security in their environment. Where they can trust we will lovingly care for all their needs.
I believe that enriching an environment that is designed for individual exploration and discovery, with play-based activities, will enhance development. We believe it is important for those who care for infants and toddlers to observe each child’s interests to find ways to enhance their exploration and discovery. We believe that those who care for infants and toddlers should take their cues from the children as to the appropriate time to introduce activities or to facilitate the discovery of materials and activities. Benefits of professional early learning materials builds school readiness skills. Your child will participate in activities related to four educational themes. He or she will also be introduced to concepts related to literacy, pre-math, problem-solving, colors, and shapes through a variety of engaging, hands-on activities. Early learning activities set the stage for life-long learning.
Appropriate activities can build self-esteem and enthusiasm.
